Kevin; the owner of Trug Makers is the oldest Trugmaker (72) still making and has made more trugs than any living man.
All trugs are hand crafted by Kevin in the traditional way of steaming and bending the various parts, and all materials used are F.S.C. approved. Every finished Trug is signed and dated by Kevin and following a final check by Jaqui, their unique Sussex Trug stamp is added on the base. Kevin's Trugs come in five sizes 5 - 6 - 7 - 8 and the Daffodil, with an added option of the ‘Harlequin’ design which earned Kevin the British Design Centre award in 1970. Kevin's wife Jaqui PhD (Packaging and handling Department) as the title suggests, is responsible for receiving, packing and shipping your orders. Trug Makers' boast very rapid delivery, if a trug is ordered before 10:30am, you will receive it next day by courier; ideal if it's a last minute present. Jaqui can also include a personal message on a card for the recipient if you wish (no extra charge).
