Terracotta Bedding/Bulb Pot
Elegant and classic, this generously proportioned terracotta pot is a perfect blank canvas for bedding or bulbs.
A layered bulb lasagne will lay the groundwork for a spectacular burst of spring colour. Or pack in vibrant and varied bedding for an impactful focal point you can change with the seasons. The tapered shape makes it easy to lift spent plants for a fresh start each season.
Each pot is hand thrown in Turkey by Argun and his son, 3rd and 4th generation potters from the Izmir region on the Aegean coast. Made using local clay, it will age to a wonderful patina as the salts slowly leach to the surface.
Though fired to 1080°C to make them as frost resistant as possible, we would always suggest using pot feet and moving pots to a sheltered spot in the colder months. Supplied with drainage hole.
Crocus All Purpose Compost
This 100% peat-free compost is the blend we use on our nursery in Surrey. We've worked closely with our compost supplier for many years (with plenty of trial and error) to find a growing medium we're happy with, and now you can use it for your plants at home.
Made for the diverse range of plants we grow (over 7,000 species and counting) this mix is well suited to the needs of most plants. Free draining for healthy roots, moisture retentive to reduce stress and rich in nutrients to nourish plants and soil.
