Passionate about peat-free growing and sustainable gardening, they cultivate a diverse range of native wildflowers, herbaceous perennials, and ornamental grasses. Their plants are perfect for creating wildlife-friendly gardens, enhancing biodiversity, and inspiring naturalistic planting schemes.
PlantWild began in 2018 when they had the opportunity to start their own small nursery in Northamptonshire to grow peat free British native wildflowers.
By 2021 they had outgrown their ¼ acre site and decided to search for a larger nursery that they could call their own. Their combined ambition has always been to own an eco-friendly nursery.
They came upon The Blooming Wild Plant Nursery in its beautiful rural setting in South Somerset, which they purchased in Spring 2022. They were then able to combine growing Native wildflowers with a carefully chosen range of peat free Herbaceous perennials and Ornamental grasses, and so they finally returned to Somerset to pursue their passion.
