You can of course, use our recipes as a guide and tweak them to suit your own tastes. They are in the main, written by somebody who loves food and doesn't measure anything (Carrie) so we hope you enjoy our 'rustic' take on the selection of dishes here. A good earthy soup packed with nutrition!
Please note that our recipes are an approximate guideline - Quantities along with ingredients are totally adaptable to suit personal taste, consistency and density as well as portion sizes.
1. Heat gently the butter, mushrooms, and onion in a saucepan for a few minutes until tender.
2. Stir in the flour, seasoning and also the stock.
3. Bring to the boil and then simmer on low for 15-20 minutes.
4. Stir in the cream, and serve with a little garnish if you wish.
