Caledonian Horticulture produces a range of peat-free horticultural products at their composting sites across the south of Scotland. Available in small bags for gardens and allotments, builders bags for landscaping, and lorry loads for agriculture and remediation projects. They are open to the public, or can deliver across the Central Belt, Fife, Ayrshire and the Scottish Borders.
They also produce a range of sustainably harvested wood burner logs, kindling and pizza oven logs which are kiln-dried in their purpose-built drying kiln.
Caledonian Horticulture provides a range of quality assured horticultural products to meet their customers’ needs with sustainability at the core of everything they do. They help to contribute to a circular economy by recycling or repurposing all waste they receive into their sites and diverting valuable resources from going to landfill.
They take great care in ensuring the quality of their sustainably produced product range and this has been recognised by the Association of Organics Recycling, winning the UK wide award for compost marketing and product innovation on two separate occasions, and more recently the British Renewable Energy Award for Preserving Natural Capital.
